Camjackers

Camjackers is a 2006 comedy directed by Julian Dahl. The film set in Los Angeles focuses on two wealthy film school students, (Jeremy Fels, Tao Ruspoli) who have just graduated. The naive graduates think they have come up with a very clever project; they are going to make an urban spoof based on an ancient Greek play. The two men think all they need to make this movie a blockbuster is a pimp, a prostitute, and a thug. The men set out in the mean streets of LA with their big dreams and very expensive camera equipment and are promptly robbed by real-life thugs (Phoenix Orson, Cody Lucich, Darkzeied). These "camjackers" want to use the equipment to make a hip-hop documentary. The naive filmmakers eventually recover their stolen cameras and film, and are surprised to see what the thugs created with the equipment. What will the wealthy men do with the recovered footage?
