Brick is an independent 2005 crime thriller starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) as a lonely teenager trying to solve the mystery of his dead ex-girlfriend. Brendan Frye (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) receives a cryptic message from his former girlfriend, Emily (Emilie De Ravin). Emily says she is in trouble. Brendan, who still loves her, wants to help her any way he can. Two days later, he finds her corpse dumped in a tunnel.
