Boulevard is a gritty, intense film that tells the story of Jennefer (Kari Wuhrer), a victim of terrible domestic violence. Forced into placing her newborn for adoption, Jennefer finds the strength to leave her abusive boyfriend J-Rod (Joel Bissonnette), only to find herself homeless on the streets of Toronto. Desperate to reclaim her child before her adoption is complete, Jennefer turns to prostitution to make the money she needs. Fellow prostitute Ola (Rae Dawn Chong) witnesses a vicious pimp murder one of his girls, but keeps quiet out of fear for her life.
