Blazing Guns

Blazing Guns is a 1943 western directed by Robert Emmet Tansey. The film follows two federal marshals, Ken (Ken Maynard) and Hoot (Hoot Gibson), who, under the direction of the governor (Lloyd Ingraham), attempt to clean up the lawless town of Willow Springs. Duke Wade (LeRoy Mason) and his gang of outlaws control the town, and they have already killed two other marshals that were trying to bring justice to Willow Springs. The action begins as Duke steals cattle from his brother Jim (Roy Brent). In return, Jim kills one of Duke's henchmen and Duke promises to hang his brother as punishment. This forces Jim to seek refuge with Ken and Hoot. The outlaws come looking for Jim, and the two marshals realize that they are greatly outnumbered. Needing more men, they ask the governor to release prisoners into their custody. Their plan is to have the prisoners help them fight Duke in exchange for their freedom. The governor grants their request, but the marshals do not realize that one of the prisoners is actually working undercover for Duke. Can Ken and Hoot establish order in this town of bandits, while harboring a traitor in their own camp? MORE [EDIT]
