Blade is a 1998 American superhero horror film directed by Stephen Norrington, with a screenplay written by David S. To achieve his goal, Frost must obtain the "Daywalker's" blood and use it to activate the ritual. Blade is the only one with the ability to provide Frost with the necessary amount of blood, and Frost is determined to make him his prey. Blade, with the help of Whistler and a former vampire scientist named Karen (N'Bushe Wright), work together to stop Frost and save humanity. Karen provides the team with new insights about the vampire race and helps them to develop a new weapon that could defeat Frost. Overall, Blade is an action-packed, dark, and bloody movie that successfully incorporates a superhero element into a horror movie. The death-defying stunts, explosive fight scenes, and impressive visual effects make it an enjoyable watch.
