Black Gunn

Black Gunn is an action crime thriller from Columbia Pictures that was originally written by Robert Shearer and Robert Hartfod-Davis and was directed by Davis. An ex-Cleveland Browns fullback and football great Gunn (Jim Brown) is a hard nose, no nonsense nightclub owner with a kleptomaniac brother that steal money and books from the mob and is later killed as a result. This sets Gunn on the revengence spree. He commissions his friends, allies which include a police lieutenant and a militant group to help him taken down the local mob gangsters. This stick it to the man, or in this case mob, Blaxploitation film also stars Martin Landau, Bernie Casey, Luciana Paluzzi and Vide Blue, the former Oakland A's pitcher as they take vengeful ride to execute those responsible for the death of Gunn's younger brother.
