Big Eden

Big Eden is a 2000 gay-themed romantic drama, directed by Thomas Bezucha. In the film, Henry Hart (Arye Gross) is a hot-shot artist from the Big Apple itself. But when his grandfather falls ill, Henry returns to his hometown in Montana. In such a small town, his lifestyle as a gay man is not as socially acceptable as in bustling New York City. So when he encounters a high school friend, Dean Stewart (Tim DeKay), for whom his old crush is not quite over, the notable homophobia of the town becomes an issue. And then he starts falling for Pike Dexter (Eric Schweig), the shy Native American owner of the town's general store. Full of drama, friendship, and possibility, Big Eden is a coming out tale to span generations.
