Barb Wire is a 1996 noir-action film starring Pamela Anderson and based on the Dark Horse comic book series of the same name. The film is a futuristic tribute to the film noir classic Casablanca. The story takes place in 2017, when the Second American Civil War rages across the country. Anderson plays Barb Wire, a blond bombshell who plays by her own rules during a time when everyone is fighting for one side or the other. She owns a successful nightclub called the Hammerhead in Steel Harbor, the last free city in the war-torn United States. She also takes jobs here and there as a mercenary, selling her skills as a gun fighter to the highest bidder.
