Assignment Berlin

Assignment Berlin is 1982 American film directed by Hrayr Toukhanian and starring Eddie Mekka, Val Avery, and Roger Jackson. The film chronicles the historic event in the 1920's that left Talat Pasha, the ex-Grand Vezir of the Ottoman Empire, dead. Pasha is most notoriously known for his role in overseeing the "American Holocaust", which killed 1.5 million Armenians between 1915 and 1918. The Armenian genocide was the first time the world had seen death on such a large scale. The film documents the trial of Pasha's killer, as he explains his motivations and shows no regret for the killing of one of the world's mass-murderers. The all-German jury stunned the world with their verdict and the film carefully shows the effects of their decision. The film was shot entirely in Detroit, as much of the architecture present in Germany during the 1920's was destroyed during WWII. MORE [EDIT]
