Assassin's Creed Lineage is a compilation of three lengthy short films based on the video game Assassin's Creed. The films were essentially made to promote the video game. Assassin's Creed was directed by French-Canadian director Yves Simoneau. The series was made as a prequel to the original game, Assassin's Creed II, in which a man named Ezio Auditiore da Firenze is the protagonist. This series centers around Ezio's predecessor, his father Giovanni Auditiore (Romano Orzari). The story takes place during the 15th century in Florence, Italy. Giovanni is an estimable assassin who kills only for the right cause. A new conspiracy leads him to believe the powerful Medici family which ties all or Italy together is being sought after by MORE [EDIT]
