Armored is a 2009 crime thriller written by James V. Simpson and directed by Nimrod Antal. The film follows Ty Hackett (Columbus Short), a former armed services veteran and Silver Star recipient. Returning to civilian life, Hackett takes a job as an armored car guard. Facing financial pressure from a home foreclosure and the threat of losing custody of his younger brother, Jimmy (Andre Jamal Kinney), Hackett is looking for a way to make ends meet.
