Armed and Dangerous is a comedy about two men who are forced to become security guards. When Frank Dooley (John Candy) is fired from the LAPD after being framed for corruption and Norman Kane (Eugene Levy) is disbarred from the legal profession, both are forced to take a job as evening security guards. Little do they realize, however, that their new employer is actually controlled by one of the city's most notorious criminals, Michael Carlino (Robert Loggia). Eventually, Frank and Norman uncover a criminal enterprise being perpetrated by their union's leaders, in which their union dues are being embezzled and funneled to Carlino.
