Annie is the 1982 American musical film directed by John Huston and starring Aileen Quinn, Albert Finney, and Carol Burnett. Adapted from the hit Broadway musical, the film tells the story of Little Orphan Annie (Quinn), who lives under the watch of Miss Hannigan (Burnett) at an orphanage in New York City. When Grace Farrell (Ann Reinking) visits the orphanage on behalf of conservative politician Oliver Warbucks (Finney), she brings Annie back to the Warbucks estate in hopes of improving Oliver's image with his constituents. Annie charms her way into the hearts of those at the estate, including the servants and visiting politicians.
