Anna Lucasta is a 1959 film written by Philip Yordan and directed by Arnold Laven. Anna Lucasta (Eartha Kitt) is a young African-American woman who, after being thrown out onto the streets by her drunken father (Rex Ingram), is forced to support herself by seducing men in San Diego. When an old friend contacts her father to say he is sending his son Rudolph (Henry Scott) to L.A. with $4000 to find a wife, the family spots an opportunity to make some money and go in search of Anna. They find her as she is about to run away with a sailor (Sammy Davis Jr.) and insist she return home. Rudolph falls in love with Anna, and is prepared to forget about her past, but the interference of her parents, whose only interest is to get to Rudolph's MORE [EDIT]
