Absolute Power is a 1997 crime thriller starring and directed by Clint Eastwood. Professional thief Luther Whitney (Clint Eastwood) wants to complete one last robbery before retiring from his life of crime, but gets interrupted in the middle of the job. Whitney quickly hides and witnesses a romantic liaison turn violent. Chief of Staff Gloria Russell (Judy Davis) orders a cleanup of the crime scene, with the intention of placing the blame of a burglar.
