A New Wave is a quirky movie about a bank robbery and a friendship gone awry. It tells the story of three friends as they work on gaining money fast. Desmond (Andrew Keegan) is a struggling artist who is working as a bank teller and desperately wants to quit his job. Gideon (John Krasinski) is Desmond's roommate and is unemployed at the moment. They both decide that the best way to get money fast and to make their dreams come true is to rob a bank. In order to pull off the robbery they enlist the help of another friend, Rupert (Dean Edwards). The three come up with a dramatic plan to rob the bank where Desmond works.
