A Mighty Wind is a 2003 comedy about the careers of several fictitious folk music bands. To commemorate the death of their father, a famous music producer, his children decide to organize a concert featuring three of the folk music groups whose music he once produced. The first group, The Folksmen, is comprised of Alan Barrows (Christopher Guest), Mark Shubb (Harry Shearer) and Jerry Palter (Michael McKean). The second group, The New Main Street Singers, features only one member of the original group, George Menschell (Paul Dooley). The third group, Mitch and Mickey, is comprised of former lovers, Mitch Cohen (Eugene Levy) and Mickey Crabbe (Catherine O'Hara).
