A League of Their Own is the sincere and funny chronicle of the All American Girls Baseball League, who played an important role in giving women aspirations outside of the kitchen, directed by Penny Marshall (Big, Awakenings, Jumpin' Jack Flash). While the boys go off and fight World War II, the question comes up who will take over the All American pastime in their place? The answer: the wives.
