A Fistful of Dollars is a 1964 Spaghetti Western from internationally renowned Italian filmmaker Sergio Leone and starring Clint Eastwood in his first of three performances as the mysterious outlaw, the Man with No Name. A Fistful of Dollars is the first in Leone's Dollars trilogy, followed by For a Few Dollars More (1965) and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966). The film takes place in Mexico, in a town called San Miguel on the Mexican-American border. The Man with No Name wanders into town during his travels and hears about the local drama. Apparently, two families are currently struggling for control over the small town.
