A Day in the Life is a hip-hop opera starring a well-know rap musician, who plays a young gang leader living in inner-city America. Rapper Sticky Fingaz writes and directs this musical crime drama, starring as its main character, Stick. The film has no dialogue, and all the actors rap their conversations throughout the film. Stick is tired of leading a life of crime, and he wants out. As he makes plans to retire, a rival gang, led by Black (Faizon Love), kills his cousin BamBam (Bokeem Woodbine) and good friend Phya (Fredro Starr), who were watching over a drug operation.
