25 Years of Improv Comedy is a 2005 concert film of a gala celebration of Chicago's I.O. Theater, where comedians have gone to sharpen their stage skills for 25 years. The evening brings back famous alumni that have joined the casts of "Saturday Night Live," "MADtv" and the "Upright Citizens Brigade," as well as writers for "The Daily Show" and "Conan O'Brien." The evening takes a look back at the history of this comedy institution and celebrates the art of improvisation. Performers must learn to work without a script, direction or rehearsal to make the audience laugh.
