Clicker FAQ

Is my Clicker profile public?

When you create a new Clicker account your Profile is public by default, but you can change it to private at any time by clicking here: http://www.clicker.com/user/privacy/

This page is also found on the Privacy tab in the Settings menu of your Profile.

What information is shared with other users when my profile is public?

Clicker users will be able to view your Queue additions and ratings, as well as your viewing history for shows you've expressly marked as watched.

Will my history include things I've watched, but don't expressly mark as watched?

Nope. So if you want to watch The Hills in private you can feel free. We'll only add items to your history if you've chosen to publicly promote them via ratings or mark them as watched for your friends to see.

What's a Rating?

On every show, movie, and episode page on Clicker you'll see the option to rate by clicking a "Love It" or a "Don't" button. These actions will produce a popularity score for that show based on the rating results from all Clicker users.

What does it mean to mark something as watched?

It's a public declaration of what you're watching. You can mark any episode as watched on Clicker.com even if you watched it on TV. The same goes for movies you've watched at the theater. For smart phone users, you can download our iPhone or Android apps to let your friends know what you are watching on the go.
