Earlier this week we let you in on the fact that Breaking Bad’s Pilot episode was streaming for free on Amazon VOD. One thing we didn’t let you in on, though, was the fact that the second you watch the episode, you own it. So although we’re not sure when this stream will be made for pay again, we do know that if you’ve watched it once, it’ll be saved to your library and you’ll be able to watch it again, and again, and again, without ever having to pay for it.
And that’s the hidden beauty behind Amazon VOD. We’re not sure if Amazon is doing this intentionally, but that’s all the more reason to take advantage while the going’s good!
So long as you get to it right away, you’ll be able to take your sweet time getting around to watching it. Thank you, Amazon, for granting us that freedom.
