Good news, everyone! This year’s Coachella Festival will be streaming live all weekend long on YouTube!
As far as we can tell, every major act will be live-streamed.
Coachella streaming on YouTube means that unlike last year, when you had to “like” a brand on Facebook in order to see the stream, viewers can now watch the entire festival without any prerequisites on one of the best new live-streaming sites to date.
YouTube has been making big moves to become a hub for live-streaming video, most recently announcing the new YouTube Live feature that acts as a schedule for all upcoming and current live-streaming events. Coachella is one of the biggest festivals in the world (and by far the biggest in California),
so the fact that festival reps chose to stream the event live in its entirety is an incredibly positive sign for the future of live events on YouTube.
You can view all of the performing artists and their corresponding set times here to assure you’ll have your computer on-hand when the performances you want to see are featured.
So beginning at around 11:30am PT or so on Friday, make sure to check out the YouTube live stream and bask in all that is Coachella without getting your feet dirty.
