What You Watched: April 2010

By PatrickFollow on Twitter

April may come during Springtime, but it was a down right hot month for Web Originals on Clicker. The Streamy’s winners were announced, and though the celebration of Web talent may have been overshadowed by the controversy around the awards show itself, here at Clicker viewers were showing the love for Streamy’s big winners and nominees.

In our second edition of What You Watched, we’ve collected the highest rated programs on Clicker for the month of April.  For show titles (like Modern Family, House, etc), this means rankings in terms of search volume (since, as previously discussed, you can’t watch a show title). For individual episodes, like this month’s #1 TV episode – Deadliest Warrior’s Attila the Hun vs. Alexander the Great – it means click-throughs to actually view the program.

Most Searched Broadcast Shows

1. Modern Family (ABC)

2. It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia (FX)

3. Caprica (syfy)

20. Breaking Bad (AMC)

** Modern Family made a big jump this month, up to #1 from #14 in March. What’s most interesting about this list: the most searched for show from last month, LOST, dropped to number 5 this month. Maybe you Clicker viewers got caught up on all the LOST episodes in your queues last month, or maybe you’re subconsciously trying to wean yourselves off of it, knowing the last episode is quickly approaching. New additions to the top TV shows include Doctor Who, a BBC program, FX’s Archer, and Bones on FOX. NCIS just barely fell off the list, coming in at #21 this month, while Glee was also a narrow miss at #22.

Deadliest Warrior on SPIKE TV, a show pitting two of history’s most feared warriors against each other, took two spots, including #1…pretty good for a new addition to the top 20 TV episodes!
