This year’s such venture is New Year’s Eve, starring the likes of Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Ludacris, De Niro, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Katherine Heigl, Ashton Kutcher, Seth Myers, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank and Sofia Vergara. Speaking of ludacris, all of these names don’t even fit on a billboard. Does anyone know what the film is even about? Does it even matter? It’s a bunch of celebs on New Year’s Eve. It’s no secret that moviegoers have a tendency of going to see films not just because of the story, but because they like any given cast member involved. Considering how many A-listers are appearing in this film, it’s highly likely that most people will have an affinity for at least one of the actors. This tends to happen when users classify a video as shocking, hateful, or ignorant, and that’s exactly what’s happening to Perry’s 30-second dissertation. It’s not the first time a politician has shocked the masses with his or her message, and it won’t be the last. But in light of the fact that Perry’s video is ruffling so many feathers, we thought it would be interesting to feature a few other political campaign videos that have garnered similar responses in the past. One such offering, the new comedy web series Husbands, launched its first episode in September and already has 10 episodes under its belt.
