Once again we’ve gathered up some of the coolest goings-ons in the vein of live events and don’t want you to let this Labor Day weekend go by without having had a proper heads-up:
Burning Man 2010
This year, Burning Man is being streamed live on Ustream so all weekend you can “inspect the daily course of city life and the future prospect of civilization” from the comfort of your home. Also be sure not to miss the actual burning of the Man which takes place tomorrow (Saturday) night. The event ends on Monday, September 6th.
2010 International Detroit Jazz Festival
For you Jazz lovers, the Detroit Jazz Festival is going on all weekend starting tonight at 6:30pm ET / 3:30pm PT. The theme for the event this year is “Flame Keepers: Carrying the Torch for Modern Jazz,” honoring the men and women that helped create what we’ve come to know as modern Jazz. The festival will have over 70 bands performing over the course of the weekend.
2010 US Open
This weekend you can watch every match of the US Open streaming live on their official site. The live stream lets you switch between courts to watch, allows you to watch two courts at once, and lets the viewer get up-to-date match stats at anytime. The tennis action doesn’t end until September 12th.
PAX 2010
PAX, the annual gaming festival, will also be streamed live all weekend with presentations from some of the biggest developers in the video game industry. Find out all the breaking video game news as it happens live.
That’s your live forecast for this weekend! Enjoy the holiday!
