This month we’ve created a brand new twitter account (@clickerWeb) to help us track and discuss the fast and furious developments from the Web series community. In this short time, we’ve discovered dozens of exciting new series that are scheduled to be released later this summer, in early fall, or at a later time yet to be determined. Without further ado, here are some of our favorites…
Apocalypse Wow – This trailer from Web series veterans Woody Tondorf (Elevator) and Streamy nominated director Scott Brown (Blue Movies) was produced specifically to raise money for a full series. Hopefully they’ll get their budget so we can see more. In the meantime, enjoy the fun (and wow does it ever benefit from YouTube’s more lenient music rights policies).
Continuum – From the creators of Pink and the recently released Exposed, it has us sold on the visuals alone. The space station sets look amazing and the cast, led by Melanie Merkosky (Harper’s Globe), is sure to be stellar.
We Break Hearts – Web series veterans Brett Register, Jessica Rose and Craig Frank do drama. That’s all you should need to know.
Asylum – Director Scott Brown (prolific!) takes on a psychological thriller set in a mental hospital with a bit of mystery on top? Count us in.
Gold: Knight of the Zombie King – A spin-off from the much loved Gold: The Series. This one seems like even non-RPGers could watch and relate to returning home to hang out with high school friends.
Pryce – Clearly we’re on board for post-apocalyptic anything. With kick-ass Taryn O’Neill in the lead? Done deal. (There’s a brief intro before the teaser begins).

Alice & The Monster - Another new show from the creators of Gold: The Series. Promises to balance love, comedy and cancer. No small feat.
Appleseed Elementary – You always assumed elementary schools were run by people who know what they’re doing. Think again…
Backwash – A brand new series written and produced by Joshua Malina of West Wing and Sports Night fame. Check out the trailer for the absurdly amazing list of cameos you can expect in the first season.
Fury of Solace – A superhero musical that is also promising some fun interactive games to follow.

8.13 the Series – The zombie apocalypse told from three different points of view. Promising lots of blood and violence so viewer discretion insisted (you know you’re going to watch it now).
Lien on Me – Cheesy real estate commercials have always been targets for spoofing, but can it still be funny following the housing crisis? Oh come on, of course it can.
Vampire Mob – Vampires + The Sopranos. I’m shocked their door has yet to be kicked down by Hollywood or their ideas haven’t been stolen. Among the cast: Marcia Wallace, who is the voice of Mr. Krabappel on The Simpsons and was Carol on The Bob Newhart Show, Kirsten Vangsness, who plays Penelope Garcia on Criminal Minds and Chris Mulkey, who you might recognize from Twin Peaks (and soon Boardwalk Empire).
We Lost Our Gold - It’s more fun if you read that with a pirate accent. No, but seriously this series combines CGI and pirate puppets. Pretty much the ultimate combo.
