  • Up, Down, Left Right: Use the directional arrows on your keyboard to navigate up, down, left, and right.
  • Enter: To make a selection, simply navigate to the image of your choice and hit the Enter key.
  • Backpsace/Delete: To return to the previous screen, hit Backspace or Delete.
  • Escape: To return to the Clicker.tv homepage, hit the Escape key.

Playing Video

  • Selecting a show will display the list of the newest episodes. To watch a video, click the image of the episode you are interested in and hit Enter.
  • When an embedded video is available an overlay screen will pop up for you to watch. Some videos will begin playing immediately, while others will require a click to start.
  • For many episodes, Clicker.tv will direct you to another website to watch. You can return to Clicker.tv when the video has completed by hitting the Back button on your browser.

Searching

  • Start typing! A search results screen will immediately appear with search results as you type.
  • If you'd like to change your query, delete unwanted letters. Search results will update automatically as you type.

Queue

  • To create an automatically updating Queue of shows and episodes, you will need to create an account at http://www.clicker.com/create-an-account.html
  • Once you have created an account you can log in on Clicker.tv and add shows to your Queue. Navigate to the "Add to Queue" text on any Show page and as new episodes are made available they will automatically be added to your Queue.
  • Your Clicker.tv will sync with any changes you make on Clicker.com, allowing you to add your favorite shows on the web and have them ready for quick TV viewing.

Settings

  • Filtering Sources: Logged in users can choose to filter results from iTunes, Amazon, and Netflix.
  • Episodes that can be watched for free will always be visible.
  • Netflix shows and movies are available to subscribers.
  • iTunes and Amazon shows and movies require a rental or purchase fee per title.

Can I watch Clicker.tv on my television?
Yes, many flat screen televisions can be used just like a computer monitor. This allows you to connect a laptop to your television with a cord that costs less than $20 and with no extra hardware required.
What browsers are recommended for Clicker.tv?
To ensure that keyboard navigation works fully, we recommend using one of the following browsers:

What do I need to connect to my computer to my TV?
Computers and TVs can have a variety of different connections, but generally you'll want to look for DVI, VGA, or HDMI inputs to your TV. HDMI inputs are the latest and greatest technology and we recommend using the Amazon Basics Shop to purchase them.

Can I control Clicker.tv with an Apple remote?
You can! We recommend setting this up with a program called Mira. Here are some basic steps. For more information, see the Mira website.
  1. Download and install Mira from: http://twistedmelon.com/mira/
  2. Mira adds an option to your Apple system preferences
  3. Find your browser (i.e. Firefox) on the list of applications and check it
  4. Configure the browser in Mira as follows:
    • remote-up = arrow up
    • remote-down = arrow down
    • remote-left/rewind = arrow left
    • remote-right/ff = arrow right
    • remote play = return key
    • remote menu = back/delete (or escape if you prefer)
